I started as the worst marketer in my class... officially. (my professor said so.) I wasted money on ads, ran "special discounts" no one redeemed, and rebuilt my website a dozen times without it ever feeling right.
Then a white-haired, old marketer sat me down for 30 minutes and walked me through my brand messaging. He opened my eyes and I felt like I understood everything! The mysteries of the universe were mine! I turned off the ads, redesigned the site in two days, started emailing past customers.
...And the business still grew! Turns out ads weren't the most important factor to get more business.
